The Fiesta Formula

Riddle me this: is there a better themed shindig than a Mexican fiesta-themed shindig? That's a freebee because the answer is obviously no, there ain't. So when you're actually attending an event known as Fiesta (yes, as in the Fiesta), throw all notions of an understated, neutral wallflower wardrobe out ze window.

Would I venture so far to say that no parties are more festive than the week-long Fiesta shenanigans that go on in San Antonio, Texas every April and kick off in exactly 6 days and 14 hours (but whose counting)? Maybe I would (I think I just did). But with these dresses, these parades, this line up of events, and reaaaal good Tex Mex & margs, the formula behind this Texas Mardi Gras ranks makes for some festivities that rank prett-ay prett-ay high in my book.

How To: Look Egg-Cellent This Easter

Sometimes (most of the time) I just can't help myself or the cheesy puns. And if you're not into my yokes today, omelettin' it slide since I don't carrot all - some bunny out there must get egg-cited about festive word play like I do. And if being punny ain't yo' thang, then at least get on board with the thematic dressing and fill your baskets (shopping baskets, that is) with some springtime styles. Take a Hint, Easter Bunny

Hey peeps (get it?), only seven more sleeps until the Easter Bunny arrives! And while I'm perfectly content with a basket stocked with sugary confections, a girl can't help but dream of some other springtime pastel-hued goodies Mr. Bunny Foo Foo could spoil her with (should he so choose).

If you're thinking like I'm thinking, simply do the following: 1) send a link to this blog to that special some-bunny in your life, subject line: "thoughts on trying this restaurant soon?" 2) Wait 10 mins to follow up with another email that reads: "silly me wrong link!!! [insert link to restaurant you've been wanting to try here]" and 3) let me know what your success rate is. If you play your cards right, you could end up with a Easter surprise and a date night - double whammy.

Too mature to still believe in the Easter Bunny? Then by all means, treat yo'self - it would make for a good Sunday Funday indeed.
